THANK YOU Thank you Johnny McNeebs for taking the time to write a review on our store, and yes i agree the prices you quote are on the very high side.But they are not the prices we charge or what is on the large menu board we have running the full width of our wall behind the tills and cooking area for all to see, or on our till systems. All our products and what we charge are labelled on shelves, menu boards and at credit card till terminals. We believe that when buying anything we all should be able to see what the costs are, it is also how Trading Standards require ours and all businesses to operate.
i had been in a few times and thought this place was over priced so i decided to ask for a receipt. Unbelievable! i asked for a chicken burger which was 2.50 ( already on the high side ) and when asked what i wanted on it i asked for lettuce , onion and cheese, no mention of any additional cost. I also got a buttered roll and pack of bikers. They charged me 55p for each added topping so 55p for a couple bits of onion, 55p for a slice of cheese and 55p for lettuce, 55p for a buttered roll as well. My friend who was with me had an ever bigger shock as he had tomatoe and other salad so 55p for each thing. so the burger ended up costing him over 5! a basic frozen chicken burger in a basic roll with salad. and then a 70p charge just for using my card just to top it off. will never go in there again , pathetic.
